iPod TV Spots
Watch the news iPod ads here. The negative-space imagery is funky!

"In typical Apple advertising-style, the commercials are branding efforts that attempt to sell a lifestyle, and do not offer substantive information about the iPod. The colors and imagery, however, are very new to the company which is known more for its use of white backgrounds and product shots." (source: MacObserver)

In connection to the iPod ad this article from Star Tribune, however, claims that "hip-hop dance, though mainstreamed, is widely misunderstood".

What's your Skype?
Well, I hate to imitate the news of other blogs, but I thought this item was rather cool. It seems that people are starting to sneak their Skype I.D. into their e-mail signatures. I haven't done it, but now I might! For a "Managent of Technology" graduate and (a couple of others probably) this interesting because it is diffusion of technology - in progress. The interesting thing to follow with Skype is the "networking effect". The more users, the more useful it is - it was the same with the fax machine or early P2P.

The cool cat is back tomorrow. Napster, that is. The question is whether is too late or if the timing is just right. With the recent launch of iTunes for Windows, it has certainly never been more popular to pay to download music. This article explores the new launch and the current conditions that surround it. Product Placement
Allright, we've faced it. The majority of folks who read about Google. new web sites, Madlibs compression techniques, dope hip hop tunes, watch the DC video filmed with helicopters, dig Madlibs' "Shades of Blue" or Kool Keith lost tapes in 1976 Magazine are probably male. So here it is, out first insert from Victorias Secret... enjoy!

"i-n&-'vA-sh&n
Innovate, don't replicate. This seems to be the formula for Outkast - arguably some of the most clever musicians today - and at 1976 Magazine we're glad that it seems to pay off. Even in 2003.

Main Entry: in·no·va·tion
Pronunciation: "i-n&-'vA-sh&n
Function: noun
Date: 15th century
1 : the introduction of something new
2 : a new idea, method, or device

"Kast sold 234,000 copies last week, good enough to stay at the top of the charts for a second straight week, a feat that is getting harder and harder to do in the industry. Congratulations to the entire team from Stankonia.com"

Work
Hey, I want to direct your attention to some work-related projects: The Quiz Hans competition for MSN Messenger and the EURO 2004 website for Carlsberg. Peace!
